What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone. A cookie is not a programme that contains malicious processes or viruses.

How the website uses cookies
Some cookies perform essential functions for the website. Cookies also help us to understand why you visit the website so that we can continually optimise and adapt the website to your specific needs and interests. Cookies remember things like the items you have added to your shopping basket, whether you have visited the website before, whether you are logged in and what language and currency you prefer to view on the website. We also use cookies to target our adverts to you on other websites. In general, we use cookies as part of our services and to be able to present you with content that is as relevant as possible to you.

You can see the specific services that store cookies and why they are stored under the different categories:

How long are cookies stored?
The length of time a cookie is stored on your device and in your browser varies. The lifetime of a cookie is calculated based on your last visit to the website. When the lifetime of a cookie is over, it is automatically deleted. The lifetime of all the cookies we use is specified in the Cookie Policy document.

Rejecting or deleting cookies
You can refuse all cookies and/or third-party cookies altogether by changing your browser settings on your computer, tablet or smartphone. The location of these settings depends on the browser you are using. However, you should be aware that if you reject all and/or third-party cookies, there will be features and services that you will no longer be able to use on the websites (as these rely on cookies).
You can deselect cookies from Google Analytics here.

How can I delete cookies?
It is easy to delete cookies that you have previously accepted. The deletion process depends on the browser you are using (Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.) and the device you are using (smartphone, tablet, Windows PC, Mac).
You can normally find it under Settings - Security and privacy - but it varies from browser to browser.
